The University of Toronto, founded in 1827, is a non-profit public university in the Toronto metropolis. It is an accredited institute with over 45,000 students enrolled. Its selective admission policy is based on a student's past academic record, current grades, and any supplemental applications submitted during the admissions process.

Students from across the world are welcome to apply. UofT offers many non-academic services, such as administrative services, sports facilities, housing, a library, and many opportunities for study abroad.

The total enrollment of students as for fall 2018 was 93,081 out of which 70,062, were in-state students and 23,019 were international students, coming from 159 countries and regions. uToronto has 44 libraries along with 158 librarians.

The University of Toronto library system has more than 19.5 million physical holdings and more than 6.2 million electronic holdings. uToronto library system is the third-largest in North America.

    Beautiful Open Place. Old building one of the nicest campuses in the world U-of-T for the year 2021 has a world rating of number 17.
