College:Vancouver Community College
Four neighborhood establishments had met up in 1965 to frame what is as of now known as the Vancouver Community College. The four establishments were the Vancouver Vocational Institute, the Vancouver School Board's Night School Program, the Vancouver School of Art, and the King Edward Senior Matriculation and Continuing Education Center. They had all consolidated and were at first called the Vancouver City College. Classes were held at the King Edward Center to start with. The school had set up a grounds in the Langara area, which in 1994 had transformed into a free school. In 1974, after partition from the Vancouver School Board, Vancouver City College came to be known as Vancouver Community College. The principle grounds was then moved to 1155 Broadway from twelfth Avenue and Oak Street (the King Edward Center). By and by, the grounds at 200 square Dunsmuir (Downtown grounds) houses every one of the offices that were accessible at the Vancouver Vocational Institute at first.
